Sales Person Wanted
Will be selling radio advertising to local businesses. Will start with a contact list and will be expected to work that list as well as recruit new clients. Sales experience is a plus but not necessary - training will be provided. Must be a self-starter, energetic and outgoing. Will need excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must have ability to multi-task and a strong desire to be successful.
Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Must have vehicle and a good driving record. Must be professionally dressed and have good conversational skills. Must have computer and telephone skills, be able to legibly write instructions and work simple math problems.
Normal workday is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but may be required to work special promotions on weekends and sometimes after hours.
Wages starts at $8.05 per hour plus two percent commission on monthly sales and gas allowance. Benefits are available after probation period.

Need A Part Time Board Operator:
Need a person to operate the broadcast board and computer during live broadcasts. These live broadcasts consist of all the Cowboy and Cowgirl ballgames and the Bobcat Football games. Also the live broadcasts of KATL Live and other possible remote type broadcasts. There would be from 2 to four hours of time on average for each of the broadcasts. Technical and computer experience is a plus but not necessary. Understanding the basic functions of football and basketball would be a plus but not necessary. There would be eight to ten hours a week. Weekends and nights most of the times. Need to be very dependable and available.

Section III—Supplemental (non-vacancy specific) Recruitment Activities Undertaken by KATL.
Star Printing Company DBA KATL-AM works with local and state internship programs. Interns have been brought in to assist the on-air staff and to learn general aspects of broadcasting. The station conducts informational and education tours and classes for grade, middle, and high school students interested in communications.
Star Printing Company DBA KATL-AM participates in college scholarship programs with the Montana Broadcasters Association with monetary donations and help in selecting those to receive scholarships for broadcast related schooling.
Star Printing Company DBA KATL-AM provides tours of the station facilities to any group or organization requesting one (i.e. The Girl Scouts, The Boy Scouts, 4-H Clubs, Grade Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, and other clubs and Organizations.
Star Printing Company DBA KATL-AM works with local job fairs sponsored by local employment units in Custer County. Help them set up the job fairs and advertise the activity.
Star Printing Company DBA KATL-AM management is involved with a broad cross-section of community groups. Such as civic groups/churches: including Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis club, Rotary, Key Club, and 4-H groups.
